BIO OF THE ARTIST

Asja Tustanowska (born 1992, Murmansk) – visual artist. She has lived and worked in
Wrocław for five years. She graduated from the Stieglitz Academy of Art in Saint Petersburg
and studied at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław from 2020 to 2022.
Her art is about change, mystery, and movement. She usually paints with oil and acrylic,
sometimes using charcoal or pieces of fabric. Her paintings are like visual journeys, where
dreamlike images mix with something secret and intimacy. Calm and tension come together
to create hypnotic compositions.
She has taken part in group exhibitions in Poland and abroad (Wrocław, Kraków, Warsaw,
Barcelona, Berlin). She also created her own curatorial projects, for example:
2025 – “Everything You Desire,” Port Miejski, Kombinat, Wrocław
2024 – “Pulsation – Tamka Gallery Night,” Galeria u Agatki, Wrocław
